What can you do with short hair?

I just got my hair cut and it is off my shoulders and its layered and i kinda have side bangs still, but i don't really like the look when its just down (i'm not very crazy about how it looks this short in the first place)... so what can i do with it?

also i have swimming for gym and so any suggestions what to do with it when its wet... besides just let it dry cause i don't like that?

and anyone know how long it will take for it to grow back down a little past my shoulders?

-lots of layers

-sorta side-swept bangs; they r mor lik the shortest layer

-it kinda fits to my neck and head cause it looks thicker on my head n curves in towards my neck where my neck is. (naturally!)

i really dont kno wat 2 say cause im just starting off with this hairdo.

i used to have really long hair so im sorta upset i cant fit it all into one long pretty ponytail or a bun for my ballet classes. I'm in all types of dance classes so in order to kept my eyes safe, i hav 2 tie my hair up. (i hav wacked my hair rit in my eye n it hurts bad!)

-make 2 pigtails or ponytails at the bottom of my head on the left n rit lik this:

you can try to put it in a pony tail and it will probably take about 3months to grow back

well for what u can do with it...

you can use hair clips and clip the front back or you can do the little bump in your hair at the front...or do a little pony tail with the first few strands of hair..and for how long it will take to be a long again i have no clue but prolly awhile!...Good Luck!

to make your hair grow faster, when you are using shampoo in the shower , massage your head (scalp) because thats stimulate the hair follicles to grow :]
