I recently cut my hair short to around under the ear lobes in a bid to try and cut out the damaged ends. Since I am not a professional at cutting, you can imagine that it didnt come out that great so I want to have it professionally cut and when I do, i want to put streaks in, but would it look ok? I can't find any evidence of it on the web so if you have any images to show me, that would be great.

well it depends on the color of your hair but it probabaly would not look good if they are thick streakes in short hair. I suggest getting thin streaks because it will add more volume and shape to short hair

i wouldn't go with a really bold color in the beginning.
you might want to start with a shade that is either one shade darker or lighter than your hair. so you can just ease into the highlights.
