my daughter thinks short hair on women when they get this age make them look younger.some friends do too..some friends are real nagging about it.i think people should be left alone and do whatever they feel comfortable with themselves whether it be almost brush cut type a thing or down to the butt.the straight look is in most people say but i dont see anything wrong with someone going wavy curly if they like it themselves.

My grandmother, who is 90, still wears shoulder lenght hair, but always keeps it in either a neat bun or a schingon (think Audrey Hepburn in that famous picture for Breakfast at Tiffany's) She also insisted on dyeing it all the way into her 60's.
Even now, with it being as white as snow, no one ever suggests that she should cut it, cause it's always so neat.
