Is it possible to get hair extensions when your hair is really short?

I don't know how hair extensions work. So, if you want to be mean, go ahead. I don't care. Anyway, my hair is about three inches on the sides (and front, I guess) and about one inch in the back. I'm getting married in a month, and I had to get my hair cut this short. I won't explain why, but it's pretty short. I wanted my hair to be in an updo, but it's not possible. So, is there a pretty style I could have it done in, or can/should I get extensions? Please help. Thanks in advance.

i think that you should get whatever you want, if you want it in an updo, get extentions. remember this is the one night of your life that you will remember forever and want it to be perfect. Do whatever you want, and remember, if you don't want the extentions just take them out and have a backup hairstyle that your short hair will work with ready for the hair dresser.

i have really short hair, like as long as yours. i use hair extension, because i want people to think my hair is really longer than wat it really is. if you do decide to wear the hair extension, you might want to have a professional do it. and since your haitr is short, its better to do it with the glue instead of tryna sew it in.

for your updo, you can have a professional put you some extensions in the back of your hair, up tou your crown. the updo will therefeore be possile and the short hair in the front will mimic bangs. if you do not want that, you can have more extensions with a part, leaving some hair on both sides of the part, so the tracks cannot be seen. there are a lot of solutions to your problem; depending on your hair texture (african-american or hispanic/caucasian), there are a lot of things that can be done. i wish you to find a real specialist that can make you beautiful for your big day,

i think you'll be fine- your hair just needs to be atleast an inch long and you said it was, so no, your hair's not too short.

Most of your hair is long enough to put in hair extensions,but the part that is one inch,I'm not sure. I'd look around and try to find someone that does extensions really good and see what they have to say. If the extensions won't work you may want to get a lace fron wig,they look totally real,even on the front hair line. Tyra Banks wears the lace front wigs. When you see her on her show that's not her real hair,it's a lace front wig.
