Does short hair look good on tall women?

I'm thinking of cutting my hair short this summer, like (bob style) short. But, sometimes I think because I'm 5'10", I should leave my hair longer (it's past my shoulder's) a longer hair style would compliment my height better. Does it really matter? Or does it more depend on facial sturcture then body size? Btw..I'm tall and slender.
