Trendy short hair?

I'm 20 years old and every year i get a new short hair cut then i let it grow out. well it is time for another hair cut. but this year i dont know what to get. i've had so many different cuts i had a pixxie cut and even had hair down to my mid back. i've had pink, black and bleached hair. so i've ran out of ideas. i want a trendy hair cut probably around my chin or mid neck. i also dont want to look too young.

My daughter(same name as yours, spelled differently) had long hair and had it cut like Victoria"s. She loves it. She had the front highlighted Blonde (kinda block highlights) with thinner highlights throughout. She went to the hairdresser first to make an appointment and the hairdresser was the one who downloaded a couple of pictures for her. Not a fancy hairdresser either, just the local one. It's a popular style just now and suits many face types, you should look fine. It's also very easy to take care of.

You should definitely try blonde with lighter highlights, as this hairstyle looks beau with Victoria's hair colour. If you think that is too drastic, go brunette. I don't know your hair colour, so I can't really say.

Victoria Beckham has an A-frame haircut im pretty sure--that means its longer in the front than it is in the back. its cut at a slant. But if you have really long hair right now, don't cut it all off! You'll probably really miss it! do it gradually...a few inches at a time.

to see the side of her hair. But I wouldn't suggest cutting your hair, I would suggest a sew in of short weave or even a wig. I say this because the V. Beckham style might go out of style and you'll want your hair to be long. NEVER cut your hair unless it is damaged. There are pretty of alternative ways. BLACK or BROWN hair is hot for this summer.

I wanna cut my hair short like natalie portman one day. But I'm not sure if I'll look good. I still want look feminem, can I still with that short length? If you don't know who natalie portman is look her up. Well I'm not worried about it being so short its if I'll look okay. The only thing stopping me is my nose :/ I hate my nose its big and has a bump on it. They know they don't look like they weigh 110 pounds, but perhaps they look a little better. On some people, long, straight hair makes the face appear fatter. Many fashion magazines suggest that if you want to look thinner, cut the hair. People get desparate to look better to others, and they will give most anything a try including a haircut, diets that may or may not work, exercise that is too much, drugs, you name it. Basically, they want you to see that they may be a little bit attractive. It's probably for the same reason you may wear a certain pair of jeans or shades that you think are flattering.

I never thought of that when I had my hair cut short.I wasnt 300 lbs either but I am overweight but i am losing weight.I cut my hair short to give me a diffeent look.It actually made me look better.People noticed my hair first and then how much weight I had lost.I lost the weight first.I guess since they are not losing weight they want something to look different.

I seriously doubt that this 300-lb woman with long hair who gets it cut is *intending* to look like she weighs 110 lbs afterward unless she has IMPOSSIBLY thick hair.

Perhaps she is cutting her hair because:

a) she wants to try something new,

b) she's tired of messing with hair that may not behave very well when it's long, or

c) she's trying to keep up with some fashion trend. . . since being overweight doesn't necesssarily mean you have to look frumpy and such.

Changing a hairstyle can give people more self-confidence such that they at least are projecting a better image about themselves. It's easy to hide in long hair, and cutting it sort of forces you to put yourself "out there". While that change may not actually be weight loss, it *can* make a person who's only a few ounces lighter seem healthier (i.e. lighter) if they'd been the type trying to hide.

Well, it might be a good thing provided she didn't already have the misfortune of having been born with a small head. . . in this case, long hair might be a good thing to balance out the body's proportions.

I want to cut my hair short but i'm scared. I have had short hair cuts before good and bad but for the past 3 yrs i have grown it out.

I've had long hair for all of my life (except when it was growing out when i was a baby). I really want to cut off 8 inches and give it to locks of love. I think it would look really good. But my mom doesn't think that I should until after I go to my agency meeting (to meet modeling and acting agencies). Because I don't want to suffer from badhaircutitis. So here's what I'm planning to do. Cut my hair until it is about and inch under my chin, with wispy shorter side bangs. I also want to get it barely layered. I have an ovalish heart shaped face. Do you think I should go for it?

i did that. Cut off 14 inches. In my opinion it's worth it. I think it's sounds like it would go great. are you leaning more towards a bob sort of a cut? even if it doesn't go the way you planned hair grows back. and depending on how old you are (teen to early adult) it will grow back very fast. I'd go for it. it's always a risk cutting off that much hair at once but when you think about it your hair will grow back. theirs won't. =]

If you have that thick/soft/silky type hair then I'm jealous =p Seriously though, I have no idea what happens in those agencies, but my elder sister is a model and has relatively short hair and it works for her!

short hair thats layered and choppy and perhaps an a-frame is the best for thin girls. it expresses confidence and such, and looks great. you can also do a lot with it, but make sure it stays straight. chin length is good. but go for an a-frame if possible. i know because its what i have right now. it is amazingly awesome.=]. i dont know about other hairstyles for other body types because, im normal height and ive been skinny all my life. good luck!

Petite women tend to be flattered most by hairstyles that are rather short, like just to your ears. A long hairstyle, even to your chin, would make you look shorter and thinner than you already are, and probably would not be the best look for you.

Tall women are better suited to the long-haired look, as are curvy women, as it minimizes their height and draws a person's focus to the face instead of the body.

Well, you can clip your bangs and clip it at the back (like the picture), braid it, braid your hair in pigtails and sleep with it than in the morning untie it and it will become nicely zig zaggy i guess, tie it in the bun and let your end of the hair stick out, tie your hair half way and make a bun. I guess thats it that you haven't mentioned.

Okay. I'm sick of looking like a boy.

I LOVE having short hair, but I have such masculine features that I think I should let my hair grow out. I have no idea...

I have had short hair for the past few years. Once I let it go past my shoulders. In the link are pictures with short hair, long hair, and the ones with the babies are the most recent of me. (The pretty girl in the pictures is my best friend.)

I can't figure out my face shape, so I can't use google to find good hair cuts. And I am terrible at knowing what looks good and what doesn't. Especially on me, since there isn't much to work with there.

ANY advice would be nice =). (Please no remarks about bad looks, I know, and I'm also tired of hearing it.)

Okay, first of all, you do not look masculine. You have strong, striking features. But you do not look like a boy.

If you really love your hair short, then you should not try to force yourself to go with long hair. Never try to make yourself do something to your hair that you don't like and don't want to do. It will only make you even more unhappy with your hair and yourself, in the long run.

Maybe you could ask a stylist to look carefully at your features and he or she could give you a great cut that will play up your cheekbones and your eyes. Something feminine and flirty and fun. Yes, short hair, cut and styled the right way can be very feminine and girly and pretty. Maybe you could try a new colour or highlights. Colour can really make a big change in how your hair looks, it can enhance your skintone and make your eyes pop.

Do you wear makeup? If not and you would like to, try something soft and subtle, well blended and fresh. A touch of cincealer on any problem areas, a little powder to keep down shine. A soft blush that works with your skintone and soft, fresh eye colours, (soft roses, pinks, shimmery neutrals) well blended. A little mascara and some shiny gloss will make you look and feel even more girly and pretty and really set off your new hair look.

Clothes that are more flattering to you and fit your figure properly will also make a world of difference. I am not saying that you should go buy tight, tarty outfits. Not at all. But getting out of the baggy, boxy, boyish sweatshirts and getting into some feminine, well fitting clothes will enhance your figure and make you look and feel like the pretty girl you really are.

I don't know where you are getting the idea that you have bad looks. Whoever is saying that to you has bad eyesight and is cruel and nasty. Don't listen to them!

I don't see why you couldn't pull off short hair if you were willing to play a little bit with some color in your face...?

I mean, your skin looks great, and I don't think your features are masculine - I'd say play with some golds and khaki or silver and grey (i can't tell if warmer or cooler colors would work best for you - but you'' figure it out with a friend) and bring out your big, blue eyes, use a little moistrurizer and maybe some stain for the cheeks - allow the porcelain skin to pop, and use a nice, sheer gloss. Consider geeeently plucking any stray eyebrow hairs - it tends to 'open up' the eyes quite a bit (although nothing major - keep them natural-looking)

Then, have violent pink/purple/blue/green/black short hair - whether you want a pixie cut, spikes, mohawk, bedhead - go wild and have fun with your hair!

Play with your tomboyishness and make it work FOR you and your style - I think it really has potential. Please keep in mind that you DO NOT have masculine features, and that what may be perceived as a tad tomboyish can really be spunky and fun (and girly!) if you let it :)

i usually had a problem with my haircuts too.. what i did was ask the stylist what cut best fits the shape of my head, my features (as an asian), and my hair because i have natural curly hair.. she told me something about layers like onion cut (-- if this hairstyle term is used in your country).. which you could fix or maintain by keeping it straight (say by having it straightened or by ironing it or blow drying it straight)

it looks like the hairstyles of the japanese/chinese/korean animation action heroes (for both male and female) but it actually looks more feminine.. let the stylist also put thin bangs which i think is cute because you would have to let it fall or keep on fixing it to your ears that would really make you more feminine..

to have a good haircut, you dont have to go to an expensive salon. look for a stylist with a great haircut who is also offering not expensive fee. and tell him/her your hair style problem.. if you have long hair right now, try it at a shoulder length style. if you think you dont like it, have him/her fix it until you get your desired shape and style.. its always better to have your hair done with the same stylist so he/she'll know what you like and what actually fits you..

I personally think you would look good with long hair. I was a guy with long hair and i got mistaken for a chick and I have a very manly face. I had blond hair though. Same thing with me cousin. You are pretty with short hair. In the end do what you want. Do what makes you happy. Being mistaken for a guy isn't as bad as not liking your hair or your look. Do what makes you happy.

Round faces can DEFINITELY rock a short cut, but the trick is to add height and/ or volume at the top to add the illusion of an elongated facial structure. You would want to stay away from cuts that are pretty much even all over.

i also have a round face and to tell you honestly if you would cut your hair way to short you might look puffy! keep your hair away from your face and have a layered, shaggy or assymetrical cuts to put a little style in your hair. you can play with mousse, serum, gum and waxes but be sure to put appropriate amount so you can achieve a very gorgeous look... it works for me : )

You cannot change the texture of your hair, you can use products to calm it and make it feel smooth, and have a cut that outs layers in to give it less weight..your hairdresser can advise

Go to a salon next time you get your hair cut and get your layers point cut. To learn more about point cutting look up styles for men that say the hair was point cut. The layers will look more blended and soft. Most importantly though, make sure you like that look and know exactly what it is before getting your hair cut that way. I would not recommend getting your hair thinned out either. I do not recommend getting a razor cut because allot of times the hair looks to thin and frayed.
