Cause I'm gonna donate about 8 or so inches to cancer to make wigs. My hair is half way down my back, so it's going to be like bob-length or so. I've had long hair all my life, and I was wondering what people would think if I got it cut short. A lot of my family members have died from cancer, and none of my friends know that, so what do you think they will say? I don't really care, but I'm curious to know.

that is really generous of you to do that...most people would die before cutting their hair so i really admire you for that.... i think that your friends are going to support you and if they dont its ok because knowing that you helped somebody else is better than trying to please others...

Well, I think no matter what your friends say your still doing a good thing. Besides, true friends wouldn't care what length your hair is. Trust me, I've gotten my hair cut that short before and my true friends told me I looked great no matter what hair i had.
