IT HAPPENED TO ME AS WELL! it wont take long at all you will get used to your hair and then eventually love it, seriously i had a bob and i was like OMG i like it mid-length! but then when it grew i was like wow its ok now, wash your hair loads, apparantly if you tip your hair upside down for like a minute it helps to grow !?

i dont know but go to sally's beauty supply or somewhere similar and get clip in hair extentions....100% real hair. you can just clip them in and out, you can curl them, straighten them, and wash them. you can have them dyed or cut them. they are pretty cool!!!

it takes an average of three years to grow hair from cheeck length to shoulder length, i know this because my auntie is a owner of a hair salon. if you hate it that much get exstentions until it is longer then get them removed

i know exactly how you feel. i had done the same "lethal" mistake!!! it depends on how short they are. The shortest it is the longest will take. Why dont you think about extensions if you cant wait until they grow back?

Go back to the hairdresser-it doesn't have to be the same one and ask them ways to improve the look you already have, until it grows out. Sometimes advice on curling irons, direction of hair, can change that look that your not happy about.

Hair grows back at approx half an inch a month but grows quicker in summer than winter. Perhaps you could consider hair extensions to lengthen your hair or a wig for special occasions. But sometimes you get to like it after a time because you are used to longer hair it is a shock when you have it short. When people ask me to cut their hair short I suggest they compromise with mid length first, and if they are still sure in a month or so go shorter then.
