im in high school and i am ready for a change with my hair. do u think if i cut my hair short itll be too drastic and less attractive.. if u think ofa style please let me know

I prefer long hair but you should judge based on your hair type (ie if it is thick or curly grow it out). What i would advise is to get a little taken off at a time so you dont end up with a cut u will regret

I think you should change it. Cut it short, but make sure you have a really good idea of what kind of short cut you'd like (and make sure your stylist does too). well, it depends first and foremost on the shape of ur face. Some girls, look extremely amazing in short hair because their cheek bones are more visible which adds to a girl's beauty. If ur face is round,short hair will look nice on u. If it's elongated, long hair will look good on u. Some faces work perfectly fine with long and short hair. It depends on what ur long hair is covering, that's what makes it attractive or not.

try something a bit crazy ( very sexy!) like a mohawk if you want to go short. You don't have to shave the sides if you don't want to - cutting them super short but with a good amount of fuzz is great!

believe it or not, the farrah is comming back in style, I see all the celebrities with long fluffy hair, brushed back away from the face. Also if you have long hair ask a man/boy, or better yet do a survey with every man/boy you know, I bet most of them will say long hair. I also think girls look younger with long hair. When I see someone my age with short hair (40), I automatically think they are much older than me, and I'm in shock to find out they are not. Also when young girls have short hair it looks like they have a baby face, and if you have chubby cheeks, you will just look younger. Also long hair can be put up when you are sweaty, and it don't get oily, where as short hair falls all over your face and gets greasy looking very fast and causes you to have to wash it more often. This sucks it you are into sports. I know I might spend more time blowing my hair when I do wash it but I have to wash it less beause once it is fixed, it will stay fixed for a few days and I twist it up in a bun when I sleep to keep a soft or straight style.

I agree it depends upon the shape of your face. I had hair down to my waist when I was in highschool and my first few years in college. When I got pregnant at 24 I decided I too needed a change. I had it cut short (to my shirt collar) and BOY what a difference. I liked it for a while but then I read somewhere that most men preferred long hair on a woman (as I was now single) and I decided to grow my hair back. I have been trying for more than 5 years to grow out my hair and can't get it beyond the middle of my back.
