Short Hair.?

Okay, I cut my hair Tuesday thrilled to be able to spike it like Jes from Rock of Love. The length is about to my chin and has alot of layers. The girl who cut my hair cut it wrong, so I can't spike it like Jes's at all. She also has fried hair and mine happens to be amazingly healthy. So now that the layers were not made for my face shape, it looks strange on me. Could you guys give me some tips?

P.S - I have a really pretty face and really straight hair. I'm afraid my short hair was a bad idea but now I need something creative so I can feel confident. I don't want to look like another emo boy from my school. I like being a girl.

just go back to the hair stylist and you should probobly just get more cut off so that it is a very short pixie that would be really cute and would look funky and wild too.

Short hair cuts are GREAT for product.

If you have heavier straight hair, use mousse in the back before you blow dry (and do blow dry) to get some body. Play up the back of your short crop with anything you like. You could try parting it a different way. take an hour and play with your hair instead of watching TV. If you've got a pretty face, you shouldn't worry about lookin' like a boy... Just find a style that makes you feel nice.

Then, I would try going to a different hair dresser and asking her for a consultation on what you could do to fix the botched style.
