Help! Thin, short, unmanageable hair?

I have my hair cut fairly short, and i usually style it with paul mitchell or american crew so i sort of have a wet look. Anyways, I wear it down so my bangs are always messy and when i finish, i can always see my scalp, it's nasty i need a new look.... Any mousse or shampoo/conditioner products i can buy that make your hair full, thick, suave and manageable?

i put organic virgin unrefined coconut oil in my hair when i get out of the shower. either that or almond oil. just a dab'll do you. it makes my hair shiny %26amp; manageable.
