Ok so here how it goes 1 yr ago my brother started growing his thick curly hair and it grew long,along de way he straightened it constantly every day and it was straight, now recently hes cut it short say bout 1-2 inches and its back to the nice curly look however, it looks realli awful because its soo dry and de natural look has faded honestly from the hair straightening heay sadly it looks like pubic hair so disgusting so im wondering, if he shaved his head nd grow back his curly hair wud it styll be dat crusty dry look:S or will his hair grow bak to the original fine curls he had? and also is it possible instead of shaving it and regrowing his hair can u help treat dry hair that has been damaged from heat styling and i mean actually take off de dryness and return to dat beautiful smooth curls? BTW wen he showers it feelas smooth but wen he blow dries it goes bak 2 dull look :( thnx a lot !!!

just don't blow dry it when he gets out of the shower and if that doesn't work use Aussie shampoo (i know its girl shampoo) but it really works hope i helped good luck

If he shaves it off he'll get the hair he had before instead of that dry hair. The cause of his dry hair is from straightening it. He can use a hair repair system that you can pick up in drug stores but most of them smell very feminine. I suggest he shaves it off.

Use head and shoulders. It works really well.

Its all the chemicals from the heat of the straightener and hair dryer.

if hes gonna straighten or blow dry his hair then use those heat tamer sprays they also work very well. Tell him not to do that to hair too often

first i think if he cut his hair it would grow back curly, and it he dosent want to cut it i say keep his ends clipped and do a deep conditior, and then have a great moisterizing shampoo and conditoner. it would take a while if the damage has gotten that bad. but i honestly think he should cut it and start over
