I want to get my hair cut short for the summer. What do you think would look best on me?

I have medium drak brown/black hair thats naturally curly/wavy and I want to get it cut short but not really short. And i dont know what to do. ANy suggestions? pics would be very helpful thanks. Heres a pic of me:

I would get about three inches taken off with some layering in it. It would be easier to deal with, and I think it would look nice on you.
