Good shampoo for extra short hair?

Hi!

I just had my hair cut into a short, pixie cut about 2 weeks ago. My hair used to be super long and I used heavy, conditioning products to keep it healthy. Now it seems that no matter what shampoo or conditioner I use, I end up with weighed down oily hair. Could someone recommend a good shampoo that won't weigh my hair down?

I'm not sure if that's the exact name, but I use it and it works great for squeeky clean hair.

And if your hair is that short, you don't need to use conditioner but more than a few times a month, if at all.

I use Pantene smooth and sleek. Just remember you only need to use a really small amount of product on short hair, like the size of your thumb nail, no more. Look for products for sleek, straight hair, or ones that enhance shine, anything with lemon in it will act as a de-greaser and should help keep your hair lighter feeling. Congrats on becoming a shorty, I love my short hair!

Prell shampoo will strip every bit of oil from your hair, is cheap and smells great. Just don't forget to follow with a leave in spray on conditioner, conditions the hair by spraying on the outside of hair and not the roots. I wore my hair pixie short for years and I have oily hair this worked for me. Also put a strong hold mousse or gel near your roots and blow dry a little upside down.

i have really short, naturally curly hair---if you're hair is dark blonde or blonde--Shimmer Lights by Clairol is great. If you're hair is dark--Pantene is good but i find it can weight my hair down after awhile. I use shampoo/conditioner in one--and then condition my hair really good once a week on a night i'm not going anywhere so it's ok if my hair is flat!! Also--use a mousse for styling=-==they aren't very heavy

humm i was thinking the sam thing im cutting my hair but not as short as yours im going ot start use redken smooth down and redken all soft and now i use tresemme moisture rich it's pretty good but it's those big bottles and i dont need alot eithr but have you tryed redken?
