Yes, it will grow back. If you do get it cut, please consider donating to a charity that makes wigs for sick children.

I say "Cut It!" It should grow back in a few months. You can even take pre-natal vitamins to make it grow faster.

I'm 31 and have had really short hair for about five years now..was getting it trimmed every five weeks or so..I decided to let it grow out..and have no problem at all with it growing..Hair is like finger nails...no matter how much you cut, it always grows back.

As short as Brittany's? I have been cutting hair for 20 years and i would do everything to talk you out of it.

Find a good salon and go and talk to someone. If they don't have time for you or cannot book you in for a consultation then it is not a good salon and move on.

There are a million different things you could do to your hair and if you don't like any of them....well you can still get it shaved off.

You're going to shave your head? Wow, that's brave and daring on your part!

Doesn't matter about your age; it will grow back if you don't want to keep it shaved indefinitely.

If you're a little apprehensive at this point, you could gradually go shorter over a period of time rather than getting it all cut off in one sitting.

I find it admirable that you're willing to throw societal norms and conventions out the window and do with your hair what you please. And, of course, there's the double standard; if a man shaves his head, it's not such a big deal; but if a woman shaves her head; she's looked down upon as "weird" or "crazy" or her sexual orientation is questioned. Please...it's just hair, not life and death! It grows back...unless you keep it from growing back!

If you want to do it, go for it! Good luck!
